2010 saw the first Chocolate Festival to take place in the beautiful market town of Frome, Somerset. Titled 'Chocolate Sunday', the day was a huge success and welcomed Chocolatiers and visitors from around the South West and beyond. Click here to see our photo gallery.

 

This year we will be building on our previous success with our ninth annual chocolate festival and an exciting new festival in Bristol at the Southville centre.

 

The Lip Smacking Festival team love exceptional chocolate and wish to introduce you to the best chocolatiers in the region. You will also discover artisan cake makers, chocolate inspired gifts such as chocolate beauty products, jewellery and other exciting chocolatey delights.

 

During the day enter one of our many competitions, watch the talented chocolatiers cookery demonstrations or listen to a talk.  You can buy a raffle ticket to support We Hear You, learn about cocoa growers from Fairtrade Frome and indulge in chocolate in all it's wonderful forms.

 

 

 

In summary, our aims are to: 

 

Create a fun family day out for customers and stallholders alike

Showcase good quality chocolatiers, food manufacturers and associated stallholders

Introduce new businesses to the public

Present an interesting and balanced mix of stallholders

Provide a retail and gift experience for Christmas

Create a true festival of chocolate including a specialist market, fantastic competitions and interesting talks and demonstations
